I offer personal, one-on-one mentoring on your Nikon DSLR. I will also consider training on other brands, but all my equipment is Nikon, so I will be the most efficient with a Nikon. I will travel to your location anywhere in the greater Savannah, GA area, or you can come to my studio in Richmond Hill.
I will train you in the areas where you need the help. I customize all material to your needs. I will show you how to set up your camera in A,S,P, and M modes, for full creative control, and how to set your flash to make perfect exposures in all lighting conditions.
Basic photography concepts:
Exposure, depth of field, f/ stops, shutter speeds, ISO, stops, ev, Matrix vs. Spot metering, autofocus modes
Flash Techniques:
Built-in iTTL flash, External iTTL Flash in hotshoe, Wireless iTTL flash, difference between iTTL and iTTL-BL
Basic Composition:
Rule of thirds, Importance of diagonals, basic rules for posing
Basic Post Processing Techniques:
Photoshop, Light Room, Elements 7, learn to make huge improvements in your images, learn to resize your images properly for emailing or posting
Learn to Print your pictures properly on your home printer:
Difference between pixels and dots per inch, how much resolution do you need?
Color management:
How to choose the correct color space, sRGB or aRGB, printer profiles, paper profiles, calibrating your monitor
Quality settings:
Differences between RAW and jpeg
